Ages 5+.  We currently have players as young as 7 and as old as 43!

YES!  We are an all-gender hockey team!

Almost nothing!  There is no team fee but you will need to sign up for USA Hockey.  Your USA Hockey membership is free the first year you play.  After that memberships start at $50. We do ask that you make a $50 donation to the team or fundraise $50 during the season.

You will also need to register with American Special Hockey Association (ASHA). This is a free membership.

No problem! We will help you learn.  Come to practice and we will help you learn the skills you need to skate. 

Madison Ice Arena offers a free adaptive learn to skate program and Verona Ice Arena will be offering one in the spring!

We begin practice in October and run through April.   Typically our practices are held on Sundays from 4:30-5:30pm at the Verona Ice Arena.

We have some members of the team that actually just come to practice.  Or some who started out just going to practice then had more confidence to join us for a game.  We do travel to Minnesota in the fall, we try to do games with other special teams in the area (Milwaukee SHAW Pirates and The Chicago Storm).  But you do not have to travel if that is not something you can or feel comfortable doing!

 We do our best to provide most of the equipment that is needed to play.  We do ask that you provide your own non expired helmet.  More information can be found here.
